How do I request a prescription refill?

WeightWise RX™ medication does not refill automatically. You complete a refill check-in each cycle so your clinician can review it before your next fill ships.

  1. Around Day 23 you get a refill check-in questionnaire, by email and in the Nimbus Member Portal (opens in a new tab). The first cycle counts from your payment, and later cycles from your last check-in.
  2. Complete the questionnaire, including any side effects. This is also where you tell your clinician you would like a dose change.
  3. A licensed clinician reviews your answers, usually within 24 to 48 business hours, and sends in your prescription. There is no separate step to accept it.
  4. Your medication ships within 5 business days after approval.

On a 1-month plan, completing the check-in triggers your next charge and shipment. If you do not complete it, you are not charged. On a 3-month or 6-month plan, your shipment is held until you complete it, so complete it as soon as it opens. Once you submit a check-in, that fill cannot be paused or delayed.

For NimCore® refills, see How do I request a refill on my hormone and supplement medications?

How do I request a refill on my hormone and supplement medications?

Your clinician determines your medication, dose and refill schedule. Your medications are on a subscription plan and ship regularly, based on days supplied, until you choose to pause or cancel your plan. Do not assume that every prescription follows the same schedule.

To ask about a refill, message your care team in the Nimbus Member Portal (opens in a new tab). Include the medication name, how much you have left, and any upcoming travel or address changes.

If new labs are needed before more refills are sent, you receive notice in advance.

Why do I have to get a 90-day supply on my prescriptions?

Hormone levels can take a little time to stabilize, so your care team retests around two to three months after you start your medication. This is a standard step to confirm that your dose is right for you.

Your program includes three labs each year: a baseline, a follow-up and an annual check. Once your dose is confirmed, you do not need another routine blood test until your annual check, unless your clinician recommends more.

I thought my prescription was supposed to be for a 90-day supply?

Most hormone and peptide therapies do not fit neatly into 90-day amounts. Some vials last less than 90 days, depending on their Beyond Use Dates.

To keep your care uninterrupted, your remaining refills are processed and shipped to you automatically when they are due.

My prescription vial looks underfilled. Is this correct?

Yes, your vial is correctly filled.

The number on the vial, for example 2 mL, is the maximum capacity of the bottle. It is not the amount of medication inside. A 2 mL vial holding 1 mL of medication is normal and accurately filled. There was no error in filling your prescription.

If you have questions about your prescription, message your care team in the Nimbus Member Portal (opens in a new tab).

Where do I store my semaglutide or tirzepatide?

Store your WeightWise RX™ medication in the refrigerator at 36 to 46°F (2 to 8°C), in the original container from the pharmacy, away from light, heat and moisture. Do not freeze it, and keep it away from the cooling coils in the refrigerator.

Each vial has a Beyond Use Date printed on its label. Do not use medication past that date. After your medication arrives, if it is exposed to conditions outside the proper storage range, for example left in a hot car or frozen, email support@nimbushealthcare.com before you use it. For a package that arrived warm, see Is my medication safe in warm weather?

Throw away unused or expired medication. Do not flush it down the toilet or pour it down the sink. Consider a drug take-back program or a DEA-authorized collection site. This applies to both semaglutide and tirzepatide.

What is the typical dose of micro-dosed semaglutide that you offer?

Micro-dosing was part of the Sustain plan of WeightWise RX™, which was phased out on April 2, 2026. Your clinician sets your semaglutide dose for you. To ask about a change, say so in your next refill check-in.

If I feel nauseous, can I get anti-nausea medicine?

Ask your care team through the Nimbus Member Portal, or email support. The team asks your clinician, who decides whether anti-nausea medicine is right for you. Tell them which local pharmacy you prefer, so a prescription can be sent there for pick-up if it is approved. For a medical emergency, call 911.

How do I adjust my hormone medication dose?

Dose changes are always made under medical supervision, with your clinician. If you feel you need a change, tell your care team before your 3-month follow-up. If you have already retested and still feel a change is needed, message your clinician in the Nimbus Member Portal.

My prescribed hormones are causing me side effects. What should I do?

Send your care team a message through the Nimbus Member Portal with what you are feeling and when it started. A clinician reviews it and guides you. Do not change your dose on your own. For a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in emotional distress, call or text 988.

How long will it take before I notice if my prescribed hormones or supplements are working?

Hormone levels can take a little time to stabilize. Many patients have their first follow-up testing around two to three months after starting, so your care team can confirm your dose is right for you. Your clinician may choose a different schedule.
