The Hair DNA Test evaluates key factors that influence hair health, including hair growth regulation, inflammation, hormone activity, blood circulation, collagen production, and vitamin and mineral metabolism. You’ll collect a simple cheek swab sample at home using the kit provided. After sending the sample back to the lab, your provider reviews the detailed results to tailor a treatment plan designed specifically for your unique genetic profile.

• Carefully twist open the collection tube to remove the swab. Avoid touching the tip with your fingers or letting it touch any surfaces. To moisten the swab, place it on your tongue for about 10 seconds.
• Firmly swab the inside of your right cheek using a back-and-forth brushing motion while rotating the swab in a full circle. Do this for about 30 seconds.
• Repeat the same swabbing process on the inside of your left cheek.
• Carefully place the swab back into the collection tube without touching anything else, then close the lid tightly.
• Don’t forget to apply the patient identifier sticker lengthwise onto the tube (don’t wrap it all the way around). Finally, place the tube into the provided biohazard specimen bag.
